Player of the Week: Matt Krook – University of Oregon

Freshman Matt Krook threw 6.1 innings vs Loyola Marymount this past Saturday, striking out 11 hitters while allowing just three hits and a walk. Krook has been dominant so far in his first year, recording 19 strikeouts over the first 13.1 innings pitched in his college career. Hitter of the Week: Anthony Firenzi – Niagara University

Over the weekend, Junior Anthony Firenzi went 6 for 17 with two home runs, 4 runs scored, 3 RBI’s and one stolen base, helping to lead the Purple Eagels in a series win over North Carolina Central.
