The Olympic Club Foundation

August 30, 2012 | 0 Comments

The Olympic Club Foundation is another organization dedicated to helping student athletes get involved in sports and build their confidence. Since being founded in 1992 by the Board of Directors of the Olympic Club, the Olympic Foundation has been writing grants to allow underprivileged youths to play in organized sports throughout the Bay Area. The Foundation holds many fundraising events throughout the year, including their annual Golf and Tennis Classic and Grand Auction as well as the 2012 Pre-U.S. Open Benefit Golf Tournament. They have also created several funds including the Athletes Fund and the Ohleyer Award to help young athletes get recognition as well as scholarships when they go to college. The First Base Foundation has been fortunate enough to receive generous donations from the Olympic Club Foundation since 2011 and we greatly appreciate their support.
