The California Warriors Gold Team has a busy 2014 season of baseball and travel ahead of them – of the four Warriors squads, Gold will be the most focused on tournament play, competing in seven separate tournaments between June and July. The team will be heading as far north as Washington State for two separate tournaments; one in Seattle and one in Pullman. The summer will also include a trip down south to San Diego for the ultra-competitive, end-of-the-season “Phil Singer Summer Series,” as well as tourneys in the Bay Area, Reno, the East Bay, and Chico.
Coaches Brian Pollzzie (Head Coach, Branson High School), Mike McIntosh (Coach, San Marin High School) are returning for their second summer as Warriors Coaches, and will bring years of top-caliber baseball knowledge and leadership to the field every game. Pollzzie and McIntosh will be joined by Warriors alumnus, Taber Watson (RHP/IF, Chapman University). Their positive approach will be a great asset to the Warriors Gold players as they spend the summer developing their game and preparing for their 2015 high school baseball seasons.
